Using Flavored Vinegars and Olive Oil in Salad

Use Flavored Vinegars and Olive Oil in Your Salad

Salads made of fresh baby greens, a variety of lettuces, and other fresh vegetables are not only healthy but they taste good and are filling. But a pitfall of eating salad is dressings that may be high in fat, sugar, and calories.

An easy way to make a tasty salad dressing is to use raspberry, pear, fig, or other fruit- or herb-flavored vinegar, and mix the vinegar with an equal amount of extra virgin olive oil.

Add seasonings if you like, and put the mixture into a spray bottle to spritz on salad to make a delicious and healthy meal.
