Aging as a Personal Benefit and the Responsibilities

How aging should actually be seen as a privilege and what are their responsibilities

Age adds depth and breadth to life. It is a privilege and opportunity to have the good fortune to live and to lead a long and active life. The extra time allows the development of new skills and the perfection of talents. Longevity also allows you to enjoy and share the lives of many generations, both those ahead of you and those behind – perhaps as many as six generations in all – a span of 150 or more years!

The responsibilities of aged people

The 15 per cent or so of our society that elderly people make up is too large a proportion to be ignored or wasted. It is also too large a group to be encouraged to live a parasitic existence. The skills and talents of this group are too valuable and too scarce to be allowed to go to waste.
