Using anti-youth meditation to appreciate the present moment

While in a relaxed state, think back to when you were a child or a teenager. Concentrate on all those events and situations which you have conveniently locked away in your memory’s attic – your inexperience, all those worries about the future, the problems at school, your shyness, mistakes, uncertainty, failures. Would you really like to go through those experiences again? Try to think of as many problems and terrible experiences as you can.

After a few minutes, think about the present and relish the difference. Now you are wiser, more confident about yourself and more experienced.
