Mental Exercise with Self-Persuasion

 

 

Using self-persuasion as a form of mental exercise to fight aging

Think of yourself 10 or 20 years from now. What are you going to look like? Will your hearing be worse, will you be suffering from any illness? You may be, but on the other hand you will be more experienced, your current problems will not exist any more and you will be feeling healthy and energetic.

Imagine that you are completely satisfied, with enough free time for your favourite hobby and for work if this pleases you. You will still feel strong and refreshed, refusing to let yourself be ‘old’. You will have time to travel and do anything you want without the pressures of your current life.

Try to make yourself feel excited about the life awaiting you when you are older. When you feel revitalized, finish the session.
