Anti aging guide

Positive Thinking as Anti-Aging Activity

Positive thinking as a mental exercise

One type of mental exercise is positive thinking. Examples are described below. Positive thinking is probably the most promising anti-aging activity you can do.

In order to start positive thinking exercises you need to follow certain procedures. First, find out what exactly concerns you about growing old. Tick those statements which apply to you.

I am concerned about growing older because of:

  • Fear of disease (cancer, deafness, etc)
  • Loss of income, loss of job
  • Isolation
  • Pain
  • Fear of death
  • The possibility of going into an old people’s home
  • Wrinkles, grey hair, loss of hair
  • Weakness
  • Becoming a burden to others
  • Being unwanted
  • Loss of memory/intelligence
  • Becoming incontinent
  • Loss of status
  • Loss of mobility
  • Loss of spouse/friends
  • Loss of independence
  • Being treated like a child

Are there any others which are important to you?

Keep your answers in mind while going through the rest of the mental exercises and see whether your concerns improve with time.
