Stimulation Exercises to Fight Aging

How stimulation exercises could fight aging

When we are stuck in a routine, we become accustomed to everyday life and we miss out on new information. It then becomes difficult to appreciate new experiences. If you want to change the pattern of information flow to your brain, try something unusual every now and then.

For example, once or twice a month, as a mental exercise, have ‘technology-free days’, aiming not to use modern technology at all if possible. Walk instead of taking the car/bus, eat raw food instead of cooked food, read instead of watching television, write to somebody instead of using the telephone, talk to somebody instead of listening to the radio, etc.

This should stimulate your brain into new ways of seeing life, away from things which you take for granted. It makes you think about how to cope with new situations and also makes your brain work overtime to identify modern technological aids which you need to avoid during the exercise.
