Lentil with Rice Pilaff Recipe

 

 

Ingredients: (Serves 2, 250 calories per serving)

  • 100 g (4oz) lentils
  • 50 g (2 oz) brown rice
  • 1 large onion sliced in thin rings
  • Olive oil
  • 1 liter (35 fl oz) water

Method:

Soak lentils overnight. Cook for 15 minutes in a pan with water. Add the rice and cook for another 15 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed. Fry onions in olive oil and mix with pilaff.
