Making Your Own All-Natural Mask from an Egg Yolk and Honey

How to make your own all-natural Mask using an egg yolk and honey

Have you ever heard of using cucumber slices to soothe and lessen puffiness around the eyes? What about lemon juice as an astringent for oily skin, or apple cider vinegar to rinse soap from your hair and add shine? Many of the hair and skin products our mothers and grandmothers used was comprised of only natural ingredients they could find in the kitchen. Consider trying these types of natural ingredients. Make a facial mask using one egg yolk together with honey. Lightly spread the mixture over your face after washing it with warm water. Wait about a half hour, after which wipe it off with a warm wet washcloth, followed by a cool water rinse.

To get a clean, tight feeling, spread a well-beaten egg white (minus the egg yolk) onto your face, let it dry, and then rinse. Or try a mixture of olive oil and kosher salt or sea salt to make an all-natural scrub. Just mix one tablespoon of oil to three tablespoons salt.
